Released during the 1990s when Eclipse Technologies was still attempting to establish itself in the industry, the VM6599 is a scanner device that can be operated exclusively for the Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows 98 Operating System environments.

This is perhaps one of the few products to be released to the computer market by the company that has no updated device driver. The reason is that the production of this scanner has been discontinued by the company long before it closed shop.
