The Coolview 3D device was introduced to the computer market by E4 in 1997. This product delivered enhanced viewing of DVD data through the use of extremely high quality two- and three-dimensional graphics rendering which incorporates video acceleration capability.
Windows 2D and 3D technology is supported by the hardware acceleration feature of the device. This results in an impressive MPEG video playback quality using the AGP bus computer interface. This product also supports PCI and Internet feature acceleration.
Coolview 3D offers the user with an impressive display resolution of up to 1600 by 1200 pixels. This device can also ably handle web camera and video conferencing functionalities which are commonly used in relation with Internet based technologies. This product assures support for these devices and provides impeccable image replication functions.
With the success it achieved with the Coolview 3D, the company released to the market during the same year its initial version of the DVD add-in card specifically designed for the Power Macintosh (Artista) computer system. This device allowed the delivery of high quality video streaming on Macintosh based machines.
The design of the add-in card incorporates an 8-tach multilingual support together with its onboard TV tuner. Although primarily designed for deployment on Macintosh machines, the same device can also be hosted on PC based computer systems with the installation of the appropriate hardware drivers.
By 1998 the company intensified its development and production efforts which resulted in the debut of its state of the art video, graphics, and DVD device intended for deployment for both PC and Macintosh based computer systems.
This technological breakthrough was marketed using the brand name CoolDVD Mac DVD playback card. This device was offered to the market with a retail price of $279. It effectively supported both MPEG-2 and DVD formats allowing their playback in Apple machines with support for conventional DVD optical media drives.

This device delivers DVD playback functionality to Apple machine users and features support for multiple languages.
The product also implements the Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound technology along with multi-subtitle support and DVD interactivity. Its accompanying software provides a movie player with control interface to support majority of DVD applications.
