Problems with ActiveX Controls not working?

ActiveX is not supported, ActiveX Controls failed to load, ActiveX Controls and scripts not working? What are ActiveX Controls?

Here are a few tips to get your ActiveX working again

• First check to ensure ActiveX is enabled

• You may have Spyware or Adware on your system which is known to cause problems with ActiveX controls working properly.

• Make sure any firewall, popup blocker or ad blocking tool is set to allow ActiveX or turned off

• When prompted to accept the certificate and Activex component, select yes

• Try clearing your cache, re-accept ActiveX certificate

To clear java cache
> Go to the control panel

> click java

> on java control panel click settings

> click delete files

> click ok to exit panel

Remove old copies of Java before reinstalling

> Close all open screens and programs

> Select start

> click control panel

> Select Add/Remove programs

> Select and Remove all items beginning with Java, J2 or JRE

> Reboot PC

Reinstall latest version of Java
To ensure ActiveX is enabled in your Internet Explorer

> under the tools menu select internet options then

> select security tab

> select custom level

> Select enable under Script ActiveX controls

> Click OK until finished exiting
